Road bike season practice Subscribe Pub Share

At the start of each season, there are a few things I practice: Emergency Braking, Countersteering and Tight Cornering. I normally practice them every now and then as well. Countersteering by conciously pusing the bar at high speeds and tight cornering in the court, after some rides.

Emergency Braking and Countersteering are life-saving, while the Tight Cornering works on improving my feel and control of the bike.

If you're a beginner, you should practice these a lot more than just the beginning of the season.
